The Central Committee for the Administration of Chambers of Commerce and Industry Elections announced this evening, Saturday, the names of the winners in the elections of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tulkarm Governorate.
The Elections Committee stated in a press release that (1,600) voters out of (2,257), or 70.9%, exercised their electoral right to elect 13 members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, whose seats were contested by 16 candidates.
The electoral process took place in the presence of observers for the candidates in a democratic and fair atmosphere, and no objections or appeals were recorded during that process and during the counting of votes.
Khaled Osaily, Minister of National Economy, said: “We are moving forward with the practical implementation of the political and national will to carry out the elections for the chambers of commerce and industry in all governorates of the country, which was a democratic wedding par excellence for the events of the desired development in the chambers of commerce.”

He stressed the importance of these elections, which constitute a real lever in improving the services provided by the chambers to their members, and developing plans that would contribute to the development of the national economy.
The elections of the chambers of commerce and industry are held for the first time uniformly in all the governorates of the country within a sequential timetable. They were held in the chambers of the governorates: of Jericho, the Jordan Valley, Bethlehem, Tubas, Salfit, and Gaza, and by acclamation in the chambers of the governorates of Jerusalem, Deir al-Balah, Rafah, Khan Yunis, and North. Gaza, Jenin, Qalqilya, Ramallah and Al-Bireh out of 18 rooms.
