Today, Saturday, the Family Court in Qasr al-Nil continues to hear the case, and sources familiar with the case confirmed that the request submitted by Ola Ghanem’s husband is not related to the dismissal of the case for reconciliation, but rather a request for a “court response” and it will be decided today.
The same source indicated that the court decided in the previous session to stop hearing the case, which is the legal procedure followed if one of the litigation parties submits a request for “the court’s response”, and the president of the court must examine the request and respond to it in the next session, after which either the request is accepted and the case papers are transferred. to another circuit, or the request is rejected, and the court returns to consider the case and complete the divorce procedures between Ola Ghanem and her husband according to the provisions of the law.
