Would you like a wonderfully creamy winter drink with a sweet note of caramel? Try this martini inspired by the classic French dessert creme brulee
Tastes like Christmas: Creme Brulee Martini
No matter how delicious and hearty the main course was, there was always room for dessert. Or would you prefer a drink to round off the dinner? With this wintry recipe, you no longer have to choose, because the Creme Brulee Martini combines the best of both worlds. The combination of a creamy drink with a sweet note of caramel tastes simply heavenly. You have to try this.
INGREDIENTS:
4cl vanilla vodka
2 cl caramel liqueur
1 tsp brown sugar
40 ml cream
1 egg yolk
PREPARATION:
Put all the ingredients except the brown sugar in a blender with a few ice cubes and blend thoroughly. Then pour the mixture into a martini glass.
Drizzle the brown sugar evenly over the drink and flame with a Bunsen burner until it caramelizes. Alternatively, sprinkle a circle (diameter slightly smaller than the glass) of brown sugar on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put the whole thing in the oven until the sugar caramelizes. Remove from the oven, allow to cool, and use to garnish the drink. Cheers!
