Chelsea is on the lookout for French midfielder Benoit Badiashile, who plays for AS Monaco. If Fabrizio Romano can be marked, the purchase price is between 35-40 million euros and Chelsea will buy him in January.
Chelsea has had a bad start in the English Premier League and in September Chelsea made a coaching change where Thomas Tuchel was fired and Graham Potter took over the club and signed a five-year contract.
In the summer window, Chelsea traded three central defenders, but Chelsea then bought Marc Cucurella, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Wesley Fofana, who was made one of the most expensive defenders of all time. If the purchase of Benoit Badiashile were to go through, he would be the fourth central defender Chelsea would sign this season.
More on Benoît Badiashile deal. Talks are well advanced also on player side as French centre back is open to join Chelsea in January, long term deal has been discussed. 🚨🔵 #CFC
