The Russian Defense announces the outcome of its targeting in Ukraine during the past 24 hours

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced this evening, Monday, that 17 Ukrainian military sites were destroyed by Russian warplanes during the past 24 hours.

During a daily press briefing, the Ministry’s spokesman, General Igor Konashenkov, indicated that among the destroyed targets were two command posts, two communications centers, an ammunition depot, and a fuel depot, as well as 11 fortified positions and a stationing area for the Ukrainian armed forces, according to what was reported on the (Russia Today) website.

He added that the Russian air defense forces shot down two drones in the Donbas region.

The ministry stated that 215 Ukrainian planes and helicopters have been destroyed since the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine on February 24.
