Magnus por Asmundsson, CEO of Faxafloi Harbors, has been appointed CEO of RARIK and he will take up the post from 1 May next.

The announcement states that Magnus graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Iceland in 1987 and a master’s degree from the Technical University of Denmark in 1990.

In 2020, Magnus took over the position of CEO of Faxafloahafnar  Magnus has served on the boards of the Iceland Chamber of Commerce and on the boards of Reykjavik University and the Technical University. He has also served on the board of Landsnet from the year 2020. He is one of the founders of the tourism company Vok baths in Egilsstadir and sits on the board of the company.

Takes over from Tryggvi por
