Breaking up is something that almost everyone will face at least once in their life. But in some cases, the breakup is not the end of the relationship. And celebrities are not immune to giving new opportunities and returning to old loves,
One such couple who has given love a new chance and who has been attracting more public attention lately than any other is definitely Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Their (first) relationship began in 2002, the engagement fell through, and in 2004 there was a breakup.
Almost two decades later, the couple arrived together at the Venice Film Festival where they were a real lure for the views. They hugged, held hands, shared kisses, and, if that may not have been clear to anyone in recent months, made it clear that they were serious.
The two of them, of course, are not the only couple to have been given a new chance at love. Sometimes, namely, breaking up does not mean that the partners will spend the rest of their lives apart.
One of the most famous examples of this situation is the love story of Prince William and Catherine Middleton who broke up in 2007, but after a few months of separation, they reconciled and crowned their love in 2011.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen found themselves in the same situation. Yet their break was rather short. The famous singer broke up with the famous model while he was on tour, but that break-up lasted only one day. He later said the interruption was due to a large amount of stress and work. Fortunately, today’s wife and mother of their two children immediately told him she thinks they shouldn’t break up. They got married in 2013.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel started dating in 2007 and broke up in March 2011. A few months later the singer said in an interview that she is one of the most important people in his life and that talking about breaking up is too painful for him. The couple reconciled in October 2011, married a year later and now have two sons.
Singer Pink and her husband Carey Hart broke up several times, and the breaks seem to have strengthened their relationship. As Hart once said, sometimes it is necessary to take a few steps backward for a person to move forward.
Although happily married today, actors Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell broke up just three months after they began seeing each other in 207. The actor told today’s wife that she is wonderful, but that he still goes out with other people. But soon after the break he realized he had made a mistake, called and fraternized. They got married in 2013, and have two daughters, but the actress says it reminds him here and there that they almost went in different directions.
