Mirzet Zdero, the artist who carved the figure of Jelena Karleusa in wood, went to work in the Netherlands on a temporary basis.
– I decided to, as the people say, “go belly up for bread” outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina in search of a better existence – says Mirzet Zdero from Vogosca, who came into the public spotlight with the works that he saws with a chainsaw, ax and other handy tools , carved from wood.
He also made a statue of pop diva Jelena Karleusa from wood.
