    UNICEF congratulates Senegal on its response to the coronavirus through vaccination

    The Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Senegal, Silvia Danailov Tuesday congratulated the Senegalese authorities in Dakar for starting their national anti-COVID-19 campaign.

    “I congratulate Senegal for having started its vaccination campaign. We are happy to be alongside the government of Senegal for the supply of the vaccine,” said Ms. Danailov.

    She felt that we must continue to support all those affected by COVID-19, but also insist on communication and awareness to better explain to populations the importance of vaccination.
