    The Chinese president stressed that his country had always treated Bolivia as a good friend and partner and attached great importance to the Sino-Bolivian strategic partnership.

    China supports Bolivia’s pursuit of a development path that matches its national conditions, as well as its efforts to steadily increase the index of a “better life” for the Bolivian people, said Mr. Xi.

    According to him, China is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with Bolivia on policy matters, share governance experiences, deepen mutual political trust, and encourage mutual learning and support.

    Xi called on the two sides to review their pragmatic cooperation to improve their plans and promote cooperation in the joint construction of the “Belt and Road”.

    China is pleased to see that Bolivia is making full use of platforms like the China International Import Exhibition (CIIE) to promote its typical quality products, he said.

    China encourages enterprises from both sides to expand cooperation in fields such as agriculture, mining, infrastructure construction and telecommunications, and to strengthen cultural and people-to-people exchanges as well as cooperation at the level. local depending on the epidemic situation, Xi said.

    The Bolivian president expressed his gratitude for the valuable support that China has given to Bolivia in the fight against COVID-19, hoping that China will continue to offer its assistance.
